Painting with Light Lab:
f stop: 7.1, exposure time: 10 sec, ISO: 400
f stop: 7.1, exposure time: 25 sec, ISO: 400
f stop: 7.1, exposure time: 30 sec, ISO:
f stop: 7.1, exposure time: 5 sec, ISO: 400
What happens at a lower f stop?
- More light enters the lens, resulting in a shallow depth of field.
What happens at a higher f stop?
- Less light enters the lens, resulting in a sharp depth of field.
What worked well?
- Planning the different "paintings" we were going to produce allowed us to work out multiple methods in which we could reach the same result.
What would you have done differently?
- Next time, I would use a spotlight(facing towards the subject and not the camera) to highlight the subject. Then I would paint around the subject. This should be enough to remove the smoke effect produced from the flashlights.
