Water Droplet With Flash
Was it easy to get a good shot? Why/why not?
- Yes it was easy to get a good shot as we were using a burst mode to capture consistent dropping of water.
What did you like/not like about shooting water with the flash?
- I liked how the droplet remains suspended above the bowl and didn't like the texture the cardboard in the back created.
Colored Water and Paper
Was it easy to get a good shot? Why/why not?
- It was a little difficult initially trying to focus, however after doing so, we used the camera's burst mode to prevent timing errors when shooting.
What did you like/not like about shooting water without the flash?
- I liked shooting without the flash as it resulted in less of a glare on the water and emphasized the color.
Colored Water
Was it easy to get a good shot? Why/why not?
- Getting this shot proved to be difficult as the camera didn't focus onto the water. The image was also originally very dark and tinted yellow.
What did you like/not like about shooting colored water with the flash?
- I did not like how difficult it was to use the long lens and focus on the water.
Colored Water Clouds
Was it easy to get a good shot? Why/why not?
- Yes, this shot was fairly simple as it only required a few seconds of patience to let the dye diffuse.
What creative adjustments did your team make for this shot?
- We dropped three different colors at different moments to displace each color.
What did you like/not like about shooting water without the flash?
- Shooting without the flash prevented glare of the fish bowl and made the vibrant colors more visible.
